Full Color Labels and Tags, Cut to Any Size or Shape
Digital labels use a method of printing in which digital-based files (usually produced with Photoshop or Illustrator) are sent directly to the printer, eliminating the need for plates, which saves time and reduces cost. Setup time for a 4-color process label on the digital press is about fifteen minutes and uses nine feet of material, whereas a flexographic press takes three hours and uses 2,000 feet of material. Various tones and shading are achieved by overlaying the four basic shades of transparent ink (magenta, cyan, yellow and black).
Presto Labels’ digital presses can print up to 13” label widths and just about unlimited length on a wide selection of materials including synthetics, papers, tag stock, and even UL-approved materials. We also offer black variable printing, and we can print opaque white ink to make colors and barcodes pop on clear, fluorescent, and metallic materials.
Our UV inks stand up against the harshest of environments, eliminating the need for varnish and laminates. However, if you would like extra protection for your labels, we offer gloss and matte varnishes and overlaminates.
Instead of metal-engraved dies, Presto Labels uses the latest in laser cutting technology. Laser cutting eliminates the need for expensive tooling—just send us a die line on a separate layer in your artwork. You can cut your label in any shape imaginable—make the shape of your label, as well as your logo and color, part of your product’s brand.
Digital printing can save you money when printing multiple versions of a label. Multiple versions of a label are multiple designs printed on the same material and cut to the same shape. Presto Labels adds all label versions together to find your total print quantity, which saves you money.
With Presto Labels’ 100-label minimum and quick turnaround time after proof approval, you can order digital labels in small quantities for private branding, marketing research, or to reduce your inventory.
